“#Why I decided to learn Software Engineering”

I decided to learn Software Engineering for many reasons, but I’m just going to touch on the ones that are most important to me. My first reason is that I want to work in a field that is always going to grow. I know that the world we live in, even now more than ever before is relying on technology to stay connected and will only continue to be used more and more everyday. Seems simple to me, more demand for technology, the more jobs there will be for people with tech backgrounds. Secondly, I admire the flexibility of many of the jobs that I have seen to be able to work remotely and all over the world. I have three young kids, so there are going to be many events in the next twenty plus years of my life that I’m not wanting to miss, and I love the idea of being able to take my computer anywhere with me if needed to not miss those moments.
